DayBreakers

Recently i was footing down the streets of Moscow. In cold winters, usually these kind of journeys end up nowhere, but your home or trade centers. I decided to check the films at cinema in Erevan Plaza.

Actually i did not know which films were playing. I decided to check the one with some robotic humans attached to some seats. I thought it is a war film, i just bought tickets and go and took my place.

Here it comes, it was a vampire film, lol :)) Actually i hate these kind of films, usually they have a very cliche scenario. But i was impressed with the film.

The story is very interesting. Story takes place in future, year 2019. Vampires stopped hiding in darkness and conquered the world. %95 of world population consists of vampires. Remaining ones, humans who managed to live, were captured and imprisoned in factories, their vines connected to blood tubes. Their bloods is systematically drained. Some of the people who managed to escape were being hunted by armed forces of vampires.

However vampires have a big problem. Supply demand curve in economy :)))Their population is growing and resources decreasing. Through the famine period, some of them to start to drink their own blood, getting poisoned and turn into beast like structures. Revolution movements among them increases. And good vampire citizens get scared of this disorder. Civil resistance increases. One good vampire, tries to generate a new type of blood under supervision of a ruthless business man. Through the story he changes his side and tries to cure "vampirism".

Despite this tremendous story, the film is below than average. I could not see any social community gathered and criticising government. You see that, the vampires are very good organized, but you can not see the effects of this organization in the film. They tried to give these kind of details in television scenes.

However, i still recommend this film because of its interesting scenario. This is my only :) favourite "vampire" film.

Assertions

An assertion is a statement in java which enables us to test assumptions about the programs. It contains a boolean expression which is an assumption about the program. If the assumption is true it is confirmed and it improves confidence in correctness, otherwise an error will be thrown. Assertions can be enabled or disabled. When they are disabled they just become empty statements.

An assertion has two forms.
The first is :

assert Expression1;

This statement is just evaluated and if it converges to false only an AssertionError is thrown.

The second is :

assert Expression1 : Expression2;

Expression1 is a boolean, Expression2 has a value. Expression1 is executed. If it fails the system passes the value of Expression2 to the appropriate constructor of AssertionError. AssertionError uses string representation of this value as the error's detail message.

Emperor Of The Sea

Nowadays i watch Emperor of the Sea, a highly fictionalized Korean drama, second time in my life. It is very nice and tells the story of a slave which became the man who rules the sea between Japan, Korea(Shilla) and China. It is 51 episodes, which contains awesome musics. There are too may characters in the film, which were deeply analyzed. The most memorable ones for me are Captain Jang Bogo, Yeum Yong, Boss, Master Seul Pyong and Madam Yami (the most dangerous woman :))

Viktor Tsoy

Two weeks ago, i explored Viktor Tsoy, a singer who had been popular in Russia in 80's. We were chilling out with a friend in Tunnel, and i realized a strange voice in the mixed disco music. She told me that, this group was so popular in Russia. Then i found my self searching through internet about Group Kino and Viktor Tsoy.

The references were all in Russian, but i realized that they still have fans. Too many songs which have been tributed to them. The song that i liked much was "Звезда по имени солнце-Star called Sun". All words of these songs seem to be very beautiful. I will continue to explore this group and their effects in Russian rock-scene.
